Accessing PrEP in Indonesia

For Indonesian Citizens

Before Starting PrEP

PrEP Is Different from PEP
PrEP is taken before possible HIV exposure for ongoing protection. PEP is emergency medication taken after a possible exposure and should be started as soon as possible, no later than 72 hours after exposure.
If a possible exposure happened within the past 72 hours, seek medical assistance immediately rather than waiting to start PrEP.
